At the Pumpkin Patch, we believe fall fun and farming go hand-in-hand. That’s why we use regenerative practices like rotational grazing with our goats and sheep, our ducks for natural pest control, and composting to enrich our soil and grow healthier pumpkins year after year. It’s all about giving back to the land, caring for the animals, and teaching the next generation about sustainable farming.

You can also sample the fruits of our labor at The Market at Tandy Hall, just a few minutes down the road in Jacksboro, where you’ll find craft coffee, seasonal produce, and, if you’re feeling adventurous, delicious lamb raised humanely right here on our farm.

October 3rd & 4th: Opening Weekend & Pumpkin Festival

See how Pumpkins Grow
The Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch plants hundreds of pumpkin vines each year for the season. Here on the patch, you will be able to walk the vines and see how pumpkins grow! We are excited to provide your family with the perfect pumpkins this fall and you choose from some of our HUNDREDS of previously harvested pumpkins.
Pumpkins are for purchase.
Goat Feeding
Give our Spanish goats a visit! Our black Spanish goats are Syfan bloodline. The original stock was purchased from Richard Ranch in Jacksboro, TX. They are tended to by our livestock guardian dog, Samson, a five-month-old pup learning the ropes.

Maze
Come get lost in our maze! We build it from repurposed materials right here on the farm, because we would rather reuse something than throw it away. So fun!

Meet Our Ducks
Come say hello to our ducks! They waddle the patch all season helping us naturally control grasshoppers and other bugs, and they are always a favorite with the kids.
Hay Rides
Take a ride around our ranch on a trailer full of hay! The hay ride isn’t fast, but its fun and it’s free with admission.

We have snacks and drinks available or you can enjoy lunch options prepared daily. Might even have some campfire-cooked desserts from time to time.

Photo Station
Photography is encouraged in the patch and we have numerous areas designed to provide you with the best fall photo opportunities! Have your picture taken in our beautiful arrangement of fall flowers, pumpkins, hay, furniture, and more making it picture perfect!
Apple Cannon
Come see how great your shooting skills are and try our Apple Cannon! Launch baskets of apples and watch them explode over the range. The apples get eaten by the animals afterward so it’s a win-win.

Kick off your shoes and jump around in a giant pumpkin.
Free with admission.
Your ticket admission includes: access to the patch and all the fun fall photo opps you want to take, hayrides, bounce house, maze, petting the goats, exploring the pumpkin patch, and other fun activities.
There is an additional cost for the following activities: shooting the apple cannon ($2/apple) and goat feed is free. Pumpkins to take home and food/drinks are also available for purchase (pricing varies per item).
Please, no outside pets or animals are allowed at the Patch, except dogs are allowed on Oct 11.
