About Us

The Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch is more than a fall festival — it’s the result of years of hard work, prayer, and determination by a small-town family with a big dream.

On our family-owned working ranch — where we also raise Syfan bloodline Spanish goats — we wanted to create a place where families could gather, slow down, and enjoy the beauty of the country. In 2020, what started as a simple idea (“we should grow a pumpkin patch and invite people out to visit it”) quickly grew into something so much bigger. We plowed the fields, planted the seeds, built each attraction with our own hands, and poured every ounce of energy and love we had into making the Patch a reality.

We’re proud to be a true mom-and-pop farm. Every fence post, hayride, photo backdrop, and play space has been designed, built, and maintained by our family. All of it has been thought out carefully to bring joy, laughter, and lasting memories to the families who visit us each fall.

Grown with Care

The Patch is built on the same regenerative farming practices we use across our ranch:
• Rotational grazing with our goats and sheep to protect the pastures
• Chicken tunnels for natural pest control
• Composting to enrich our soil and grow healthier crops year after year

These practices allow us to care for the land and animals while teaching the next generation about sustainability. It’s our way of ensuring the Patch is not just fun today but thriving for years to come.

This year, we’ve even started offering grass-fed, humanely raised lamb from our free-ranging flock — available at our sister business, The Market at Tandy Hall in downtown Jacksboro. The Market is another labor of love where we serve craft coffee, seasonal goods, and specialty items, and we invite you to stop by and experience it for yourself.

Looking Ahead

The Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch has quickly become a tradition for thousands of families each October, and we’re not done yet. Our dream is to continue expanding, growing, and offering new seasonal events beyond fall — building something amazing that our children, and yours, can enjoy for generations.

When you visit the Patch, you’re not just buying a ticket — you’re supporting a family who has spent years building this dream with their own hands, on their own land, with their own funds. From our family to yours, we hope you love visiting the Jacksboro Pumpkin Patch as much as we have loved building it.

We look forward to meeting you soon and helping you create memories that will be cherished forever.
