SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS

Each October, we open our gates to schools across the area for hands-on, educational field trips where students get to experience both fun farm activities and interactive lessons about agriculture. We would love to invite your class to join us this fall for a memorable day at the patch!

We are currently booking field trips on Thursdays and Fridays throughout the month of October.

Field trips begin with a 9:00 AM arrival time and are packed with fun and educational outdoor activities. Each student will enjoy:

• A feed cup to interact with our friendly animals

• One apple to shoot from our apple cannon

• Jump time in our GIANT pumpkin bouncer

• A hayride through the country

• A trip through our maze

• Playtime in the corn pit

• Lots of photo opportunities

• And a mini pumpkin to take home

Along the way, students will also learn about the process of growing a pumpkin, the importance of pollination, and the plant family pumpkins come from.

Pricing:

• Students: $11 each

• Teachers: Free when chaperoning their class

• Parents: $11 at the gate on the day of the trip

We will have our kitchen open with items available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring lunches for your students.
Please note:

• Each student will need to bring their own water bottle.

• We strongly recommend that teachers bring a wagon or other way to transport students’ water bottles and lunches throughout the patch.
